Successfully Breaking Rules

Now that you know you can break the compositional rules in photography, it is time to go out and work on doing so successfully.

Consider the seven rules of photography:
  • Leading Lines
  • Symmetry
  • Pattern and Repetition
  • Golden Mean
  • Framing
  • Balance
  • Rule of Thirds
Go out and create at least  one successful example of breaking five of these rules.  You will be submitting at least five images.

Download your images to a computer and file size them so that they are 72 PPI at 1080 pixels on the longest side.

Please save your images as JPG files for web viewing.

Name your photos with your name, assignment name, and numbers.

Example:
  • saybkrot.jpg,
  • sayll.jpg,
  • sayll2.jpg,
  • sayframing...

Please back up your images to your Dropbox.
