Masters in Education : Distance Education

M.A. Ed. Transcript from Touro

June 28, 2004

Dear Whom It May Concern,

It is with distinct pleasure I write to offer my possible support to Ms. Wendy Dempsay. As one of instructors in her master degree in Education at Touro University International, I can attest to her academic ability, her commitment to the education, and the potential she possesses for assuming a leadership role in the educational field.

I had taught a statistics course, MAE504: Research Method in Education during the Fall session of 2003 and MAE508: Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Education during the Spring session of 2003. During the classes, I found Ms. Wendy Dempsay was very resourceful. She was well-prepared for every module of the sessions and provided thoughtful suggestions about the course topics.  Not only did she explain the concepts in the classes in a manner she could more readily understand, but also she brought the information to the Discussion Boards to pass it on to others who might be having similar challenges.

In addition, Ms Wendy Dempsay constantly attempted to apply all my lessons from Touro to her desire to teach photography in the future, thus often writing or attempting to create a working model of these classes.

Therefore, it is without hesitation that I endorse the application of Ms. Wendy Dempsay for your consideration in the position. Ms. Dempsay’s approach to her academic work and scholarly endeavors reflect the highest possible standards in any field of education. I welcome questions or comments about this letter.

Sincerely,

Heeja Kim, Ph D.
